Battling Reds fail to convert chances

London Reaction 1 PFFC 1

Ally, 17 September 2007

A slightly disappointing 1-1 draw with London Reaction last night in Willesden.

We played well and dominated the first half completely but couldn't score when we needed to. Reaction came back strongly after Damo edged us in front from a deflected free kick early in the second half. Late in the second half, Vito struck the bar with an excellent shot, Neil deserved a penalty after a push in the box and Matt saved the day at the death with an amazing reaction save to hold on to a point.

There is a match next Thursday 27th vs BBC FC (Willesden again, 8pm kick off) who we narrowly lost 5-4 to on the opening day of the season. If we convert our chances and play to trhe same standard as the last two games, we will put that opening defeat right and get another three points.

PFFC (4-4-2): Matt; Damo (1), Owen (Rico 75), Vipul, Tony; Ally, Gary (Vito 60), Kieran, Bryan (Andy 65); José, Neil
